Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They called me two weeks before our stay to inform us that our room's bathtub jets weren't working, but because of the inconvenience we would be getting a $700 credit. Because of this, we decided to keep our room and not ask for a refund and stay elsewhere. (It was our anniversary and we wanted a romantic cozy stay) My husband ended up checking in and when he asked about the credit they told him "you are getting the lower rate" which he understood as a yes the credit is applied. But it was not and I didn't find out about this until later when we checked our CC statement. On top of this, the fireplace in our room also didn't work. That was not disclosed to us at the time of the call. Had we known about this too, we would have cancelled our stay as those were two of the amenities we were most excited about. I went to the office 2 more times during our stay to get this figured out and every time they told me it would be. It is now a week later and I have called all week with them saying the same thing and that they'd call me back and they have not. They've been giving me the the runaround so that they won't need to honor the credit that THEY promised. I am beyond fru

I DONT NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL EVER. we arrived at the hotel, the front desk worker was nice, we stayed at the lake because it took 3 HOURS to get the house ready. check in is at 5PM. there were cracks in the tiles, light guy randomly came in without knocking or consent and fixed our lights whole i was mid changing, horrible smell in the attic that is giving me a headache, daddy long leg on the ceiling, literally fake fruit, we opened the fridge and it was all sticky, stained bed, and holes in the bed that were clearly just sewed up, there was a sign at the front saying that you cant yell at the workers because people were so upset with these rooms, got here at 2pm, wouldnt let us check in until 5. a 3 hour wait. many bad reviews about the food so im scared to try it, many dead bugs smushed on the ceilings that were not cleaned or wiped away, and worst of all, there was a little door on the 3rd floor, we looked in it to find poop that looks like a human poop. that tiny door had a small gap under it and it was completely unlocked with random items stuffed in there. we started hearing things banging on the door of that little compartment thinking something was in there. it is curre

At $800 per night all in, this is not a cheap place to stay. The location on the lake is lovely, the pool and beach club are 3-4 star nice, and the gardens are well kept. The rooms are clean but average and there is no ac in a lot of them so beware. Theyβre understaffed and many of them are under trained, so whilst generally nice people, they make a lot of mistakes. The disappointing part is the attitude of the management. They take no responsibility for these mistakes and make no effort whatsoever to make things right. You have to chase them for everything once they have your money. At this price point the hospitality needs to be better, itβs not acceptable to just say a mistake was made so too bad for you. The more junior staff are clearly not empowered to do the right thing, and seem afraid of their management. When customers notice these things thereβs clearly a problem behind the scenes. Being the βnicestβ place in the area seems to have made them forget customer service. Weβve stayed here a few times before, but were so disappointed this time that we will never return.
